This is a complete game ported from the PC Engine to Windows 95/NT by Hudson Soft. One of the original strategy and tactics games, Nectaris is played entirely with the mouse. The object of the game is to kick the oppressive Earthies off your moon. You click on an icon representing a group of men or machines, click on where you want that icon to move, and then click on any enemy in range to attack it. Terrain is a factor, and your units can earn experience, making them stronger. This game is in Japanese. There is a nectaris.txt file available that describes in English how to play. Even includes a simple editor! (No instructions available for the editor.)

Note: this archive has been modified slightly to use an english unzipping package (specifically, WinZip) which will automatically start the installation process when you click the Setup button. The installer itself is still in japanese but it is a standard InstallShield process so it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out. The original archive is available on Hudson Soft's site at http://www.hudson.co.jp/SLG/down.html. It is called winnec.exe.
