The Otaku World Mascots were moved from Otaku World to the otakumascot.com domain in 2007. The old "mascot" directory on Otaku World was left in place and almost all the links in those old pages had been updated to point to otakumascot.com. In 2015, the otakumascot.com domain was retired and the mascot library was permanently taken offline. As a result, all the links in the old pages on Otaku World that pointed to otakumascot.com are no longer valid, making those old pages next to useless to keep online, so those old pages have been removed entirely as of May 14, 2024.
